i began painting and drawing very young and was a very early adopter of digital design and mixed media work. starting with photoshop in 1998. using a pen tablet computer since 2000. i attended the school of the art institute of chicago for one semester in 2005. leaving to persue a personal studio practice and began photography. i maintained a practice until 2008 when i met my wife and became a stay at home dad. We moved to new york where i put my practice behind my care for my family. i maintained some side work in photography and design but didnt have the time or resources. we moved back to san diego in 2012 where still mostly a homemaker, I also worked at the shipyard and kept a photography practice. i began painting digital design as a primary focus again in 2018 while still working as a Sheetmetal journeyman.
